Wow! So much has happened since I blogged last. I'm not sure where to start.
First we had an awsome Thanksgiving. We went to my sisters on Thursday and to my Grandmother's in Hilltop on Saturday. Had lots of chit chat time with my sister, and lots of laughs with the rest of the family. The boys had so much fun and were so good. We got Thomas some bunkbeds on Friday. They are about 20 years old and look great. They are real wood and come apart to make two twin beds. We even got the mattresses. Thanks Jan. Jacob is going to get Thomas' twin bed. I'm not sure I'm ready for that. But I think he is ready because when you tell him to go to bed he tries to go and get into Thomas' bed. He is getting so big so fast. My, where does the time go?
Sunday we got our Christmas tree. We got a 7-8 foot Duglas Fir. It smells so good. Next year we may go for the pre-lit tree. We are going to go to Hobby Lobby after Christmas when the trees are marked way down and hopefully get the one I want. Keep markin' those bad boys down Hobby Lobby! I'm still in search for a wreath hanger. I found one but it doesn't fit my front door correctly. So the search is on. Maybe I will find one today or tomorrow. I'm so excited to get my wreath up. I've never had a wreath on my door.
Monday we went to CiCi's Pizza with Thomas' soccer team for the end of season party. We had lots of fun talking about the season. The team got their trophies and played games. Thomas had so much fun. He was still talking about it the next morning. Can you believe that in 2 weeks the schools let out for Christmas break?! Wow! This year has flown by.
Saturday Eric and I get a date night. Thanks to the church. Our church does a couples night out where you take your children to the church and leave them with sitters and go out. Isn't that a great idea. I love it. It is awesome for people like me who don't know many people to babysit and family can't always do it.
Lord thank you for all that you have given us. Please help us to keep growing in you.
