WOW! That is all I can say about the Women of Faith Conference that I just attended. I had an awesome time. I laughed, I cried, I sang, and I rejoiced. Sometimes all at once! I haven't had so many emotions going through me at once in a very long time. I felt connected to some of the speakers, they touched my heart in ways that I never expected. I have come back renewed and ready to go. I have also come back realizing that there are somethings that I need to work on. Thank you Sarah for inviting me to go to the conference and driving us. Love you! Let me tell you one thing that I will never forget about the conference. Imagine sitting in an arena full of women, about 15,000 and a few men. Now imagine them all singing an old hymn with parts. It was so beautiful that I just sat there and cried. The one song that got me the most was 'The Old Rugged Cross'. Oh I don't think I will ever hear that song the same again. One of the ladies who was there to sing was Nicole C. Mullen. Man that woman can sing! She sang songs that sent chills through me and she sang songs that made me get up and clap and somewhat move. Remember I am a Church of Christ girl, I just don't have much dance skills! She sang a song about the woman who touched the hem of Jesus' cloak and was healed of her disease. It is a beautiful song! The emotion and love that she sings with is phenomenal!
Well that is all that have to say right now about it other than I can't wait till next year! I'm also going to try to go to one of the smaller conferences. This is something that I plan on going to each year that I'm able.
Dear Lord - Thank you for making it possible for me to go to this conference. You knew that it is what I needed and that I needed it now. Thank you for our safe trip. Thank you for Eric's safe trip home also. Thank you for everything that You have given us. Please help me to apply what I learned this past weekend to my life. In Your Name - Amen

I'm so glad you got to attend. I've always heard great things about WOF conferences. I, too, am a Nicole C Mullen fan--her songs always have such touching lyrics.

Just now reading your blog after a week! I'm so glad you enjoyed and were uplifted by the conference. I know it was a treat for Sarah to be able to bring you with her, and I surely enjoyed sitting with you all during the conference.
