Today marks the day of another first for us. Jacob is going to start going to Sonshine School two days a week. I'm so excited for him. He has been asking since Thomas started school when he was going to go to school and I have been just changing the subject, till today. He is excited too because he gets to go and see his 'fliends'. He has his backpack ready and his lunch 'boc' in his hand. He looks so cute. I hope I stay as upbeat as I am right now when I drop him off. He keeps trying to eat his lunch and I have to keep reminding him that he has to wait till lunch time at school so that he can eat with his friends. He then says ok and closes the lid. He looks so big to me today. He has his favorite lunch packed, peanut butter sandwich, cheetos, and raisins. Well we need to get all our stuff together so that we can go to school. I'll update later about his first day. Have an awesome day.
Dear Lord - Please watch over Jacob and take care of him while he is at school. Please help him to transition well and enjoy school. Please be with me as I drop him off and go about my day without him, for the first time. Please be with Thomas today at school. He has been doing so well and I pray that it keeps going this way.
