Not much

There's not much to write about but I feel as if I need to update. So here is an update -

Thomas is doing well in school. He missed 2 days this past week due to fever. But he is all better now and I didn't have to miss any work. Woo-hoo! I had a mid-year conference with his teacher on Tuesday and he is right on target for 2ND grade. She is very proud of him as am I. The only negative thing she had to say was that he wasn't paying attention to his work like he should. She said that he is breezing through all his work and then she has to find more work for him so he doesn't get bored. He loves to read (just like his momma). He wants to read Harry Potter but I'm not sure. Anyone who has read it, could you give me some feedback if you think it is good for an 8 year old to read. He has seen one of the movies, the first one I think. How do I not know which one he watched - well he watched it on one of his sleep in the living room Friday nights and I was asleep and he was supposed to be too. Little stinker. Oh and we have signed up for baseball and that starts soon. Yea! I love baseball in the spring.

Jacob is Jacob. He thinks he is 3 going on 30. That kid is so stinkin' funny. He always has the funniest expression on his face. He tries so hard to be like Thomas. He can't wait for him to get home from school and then he just hangs on him for the rest of the day. He still loves fishing and anything to do with outside and being with Daddy. Every morning he gets up and tells Eric bye and that he will miss him. It is so sweet and heartbreaking at the same time. On the mornings that Eric has off his face lights up with excitement.
